Was born September 2, 1949 in Viroqua, WI to the late Edd and Olive (Novy) Collins. She attended Stoughton High school and UW Oshkosh. On Feb 27th, 1971 she married William Anderson at First UMC Stoughton. On June 17, 2004 she was united in marriage to David L Ver Boort at St Paul?s UMC Green Bay.

Lori was employed in sales and purchasing at Amerhart for 20 years and Stock Lumber for 12 years.

Lori dedicated herself to her family, church, friends and her wider community. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority and enjoyed golfing with the Twin Oakes Thursday Ladies Golf League. She was a faithful member of St Paul?s UMC serving on almost every committee?. more than once. She had the honor of serving as the first woman president of the Green Bay Traffic club in 1990. She served on the board of directors for Ecumenical Partnership for Housing (EPH) from 2011 through 2017, as a representative of St. Paul's UMC. She was the EPH board secretary for several years, serving with dedication, passion, and grace. Lori was dedicated to the mission of EPH and also served in honor of her late mother, who was part of one of the earliest board of directors. Lori also enjoyed being a part of the ?ladies? of the Untitled Book Club.

Lori was a lover of music and sang with a number of ensembles including the Green Bay Community Chorus, Pamiro Opera Chorus, Choral Arts, Dudley Birder Choral and the Chancel choir of St Paul?s UMC.

In addition to singing, Lori loved to golf, ballroom dance, read and travel. She and Dave enjoyed a number of travel adventures together, Lori?s favorite being their trip to Ireland. But often, what meant the most to Lori was hosting family get togethers. She was the consummate host, a fantastic cook and most famous, with her grandchildren, for her jelly bean cupcakes.
